1st stop - The Cluny

gan to ouseburn, so we can gan to the Cluny. Lunch scran, hot dog and shit tonnes of prahva lads nd lasses. Take a scoota if ye can, if not ping geordie he might give ya a lift if he's not pissed like

Translation: First, we'll head to the Cluny for a light pint of Prahva or Schofferhofer, and some lunch or light bites. Their selection of food includes meaty, vegetarian and vegan options and great snacks, including a personal favourite of mine, padron peppers. The Cluny is set in a really picturesque part of Newcastle - close to the River Tyne in Ouseburn - which has some fabulous sights to behold on a slow walk into the city centre. E-Scooters (£1 unlock + 18p/min) are available from beside the train station if you have a provisional driving licence, and will take you as far as 'Shieldfield Tesco', which is a short walk away from The Cluny (approx 10 mins, downhill). If not, Geordiepingu will be happy to make a group pickup from Newcastle central station for those who cannot walk or take a scooter into Ouseburn.

2nd stop - Newcastle Tap

reet, we'll be fucked by now. so we'll fuckin hitchhike to the toon. Gan to newcastle tap, get a fuckin pizza, chocolate calzone and some hipster beer

Translation: After an appetite has been worked up with a slow and gentle walk into the centre of Newcastle, we'll head to Newcastle Tap, who have a very wide selection of craft beer and cider on tap, as well as an array of local soft drinks like 40Kola. They serve award-winning pizzas, and also serve up a delicious chocolate calzone for dessert. Make sure you take this into account when you order food at the Cluny!

3rd stop - Central Oven & Shaker

central oven and shaker, get in the mood for cocktails and shit

Translation: The walking is over for now, we're going to stay close to the station for a bit. Central Oven & Shaker is a great Neapolitan-style bar and restaurant, whom are well known for their 2-for-1 cocktails without the insufferable clientele you'd expect to find at the Slug and Lettuce. Soft drinks are available as are nibbles for those who wish to not partake in excessive poisoning of the liver. Depending on time and general mood, we may 'opt' to take you on a quick whistle stop tour of a few other local bars, like the Town Wall.

4th stop - Tokyo

get yer fags out, ganin to Tokyo for cocktails, sick house music and pokemon on the smoking terrace

Translation: Tokyo is an award-winning bar that is classy, modern and has a very bubbly social atmosphere. We'll be heading straight upstairs where there is a 2nd bar and a DJ playing deep house (or similar genres). There is a small indoor bit right beside a vast outdoor balcony, where you may partake in lighting a cigarette whilst sipping your espresso martini, listening to Frankie Knuckles, watching a projection of Pokemon on the ceiling. Patio heaters will keep you warm despite the immensely chill vibes that are present in the terrace.
